"With the Internet growing at such phenomenal rate it is impossible to keep track of every website on a daily basis. Like most schools we used advanced filters to limit the websites students can access and therefore control the content they can view. Whilst filters can stop students from viewing inappropriate websites the Internet is often seen by many as a place where people can feel that they can say or do whatever they want without anyone knowing who did it. Mirtrak has been designed to address these issues and many more. We use it to track the use of computers, the Internet and applications. It is also used it to monitor and record the use of 'bad words' that could damage the reputation of the school and of individuals. Since installing the software students have become more aware about their responsibilities regarding the use of IT facilities and the consequences of inappropriate behaviour.".jpg)
